Sterly’s projects are always tailored to the customer’s needs. The project, carried out in collaboration with the Losvika Veterinary Clinic, included the development of the NetVet application as well as the planning and implementation of its marketing campaign. The app can be found in the AppStore here and for Android in Google Play application store here.
Mobile Veterinary Platform NetVet
NetVet is a mobile veterinary platform that allows remote reception via live video. The app was originally developed to meet the demand of the Covid era, as people did not dare to physically go and see a vet in the same way as usual. However, the need to care for the animals naturally remained the same, so the schedule for developing the application was fast paced. With the flexible operating model, Sterly was able to respond to the need quickly and develop the application within the scope of the situation.
The purpose of the platform is to enable video calls between the customer and the veterinarian. Of course, it is not possible to treat animals remotely in all situations, but often such remote appointment serves as a preliminary meeting to find out if there is a need for treatment at a physical reception. On the other hand, with digital disruption being a key phenomenon in many industries currently, this digital leap was in place for Losvika’s veterinary services from that point of view as well. With the help of the built platform, the company’s service offering was updated to be truly modern.
Project Flow
The project combined technical expertise from the side of Sterly and subject expertise on various aspects of the veterinary industry and the developed service on the Losvika’s side. The platform was built in collaboration, but the ideas and comprehensive experience of Losvika were carefully considered at each development phase, as they were the true experts in this context. Their vision was respected to ensure the best outcome.
What does the application actually contain?
The app itself consists of the customer’s mobile app as well as from Losvika’s admin panel, where they can track appointments, vet-specific cash flows, set business hours, create alerts, ads and patient reports, and of course, use video or text chats to communicate with the customer. Patient reports, images, and other important information is automatically integrated into the Provet Pet Patient Database. In the mobile application, on the other hand, the user can add pets to the platform, book appointments, and have video or text chats with the vet. The user can add pictures of their pet and describe the symptoms, both before and during the appointment.
When the app was ready, Sterly designed and implemented both a digital and a traditional marketing campaign for it. These included, among other things, search engine and social media marketing, animations built for marketing purposes, and traditional flyers. At the heart of the marketing campaigns was the utilization of a wide variety of channels to reach as many people as possible in the set target groups.
“The collaboration with Sterly went smoothly and as a result of the project we got a platform that meets exactly our needs. The app has a beautiful user interface and is also easy to use!”
